Technical Superintendent (m/f/d)

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the planning, execution, and management of condition-based and scheduled maintenance, repair work, as well as project-based modifications of Crew Transfer Vessels; arrange 3rd party assistance when required
  • Monitoring the performance of the CTVs, including speed, fuel, and lubricating oil consumption, as well as implementing immediate remedial measures if performance falls outside agreed or expected criteria
  • Planning and overseeing annual class docking and inspections and attendance to vessel dry docking, assisting with repairs/refits
  • Budgeting and controlling annual maintenance costs, as well as overseeing cost planning for modifications and refits, including necessary reporting
  • Work closely with Fleet manager(s), to manage proactive maintenance and minimize downtime
  • Planning and management of the maintenance team deployment

 

Your Qualifications

  • Strong management skills: You are able to handle various tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and complete tasks within deadlines
  • Technical or nautical degree or similar training, with several years of experience in the maritime industry preferred
  • Team player with leadership qualities to drive the crew towards shared success
  • Excellent communication skills (German and English): written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Problem-solving abilities to quickly and effectively respond to difficulties
  • In possession of a driver’s license
